Carla Connor and DS Lisa Swain might start dating. These rumors have been

addressed by Coronation Street’s Allison King, who plays Carla. Recently, Betsy, Lisa’s daughter, began working at Carla’s Underworld Factory, which has increased interactions between DS Swain and Carla. Since DS Swain was elevated to a regular role back in March, fans have noticed a spark between the two characters and are curious to see if their relationship will deepen.

However, Allison King has refuted this idea. In an interview with Radio Times, she said, “As far as I know, I don’t think it’s heading that way, unless they know something I don’t.” She added that while she doesn’t see anything romantic happening between them, the creators might get inspired if fans continue to talk about it.

Allison admires her co-star greatly and understands why people are connecting the characters, even though she doesn’t think anything will happen between them. Allison also mentioned her personal connection, stating, “I have an adolescent child of my own, so I can attest to the veracity of her teen enthusiasm. Betsy might end up looking like a blonde Carla, I believe.”
