Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has confirmed dramatic birth scenes for Mercedes McQueen and Warren Fox.
Earlier this year, Mercedes had been cheating on Felix Westwood
with Warren and soon learned that she was pregnant with twins.
It was later revealed that the twins have two different fathers,
with both Felix and Warren set to become dads again.
It’s been a tricky time for the couple in recent weeks. Warren supplied a
batch of dodgy pills that resulted in the tragic deaths of both Lizzie Chen-Williams and Hunter McQueen.

Warren’s troubles came to a head in recent episodes on Channel 4’s streaming service, with the character being gunned down by a mysterious assailant named Blue.
After wearing a bulletproof vest, an unharmed Warren and Mercedes left for a safe house in the Lake District to protect their unborn daughters.
In scenes set to air next week, Warren tries to get help as Mercedes goes into labour while locked in the new restaurant Casa McQueen.
With no one around to assist, it looks like Warren will have to deliver the twins himself.

With the hospital on the phone for advice, Warren successfully delivers the first baby. However, the second twin gets stuck, leaving Warren panicked and begging for help.
Later in the week, the McQueens throw a surprise party for Mercedes but are disgusted when she arrives with Warren.
Unable to forgive Warren for Hunter’s death, the McQueens force Mercedes to question her decision to stay in a relationship with him.

These scenes are teased in the soap’s new summer trailer, which featured an exclusive clip of Mercedes and Warren naming their babies Maria Carmela and Maria Gabriela.
Next week will also see the Blue mystery continue to unfold, with long-running character Grace Black set to return to the village.
Grace’s husband Freddie Roscoe is currently facing danger and is under suspicion following Warren’s shooting, though Grace is adamant that Freddie is not Blue.
