Hollyoaks has shared a first look at a shock affair for Ste Hay, in the soap’s new summer trailer.
The exciting clip gives a taste of what can be expected in all the big storylines over
the next couple of months – before the show’s big time jump in September.
This week, viewers will see Ste’s sentencing day approach,
as he faces prison time for killing Ella in a car crash earlier this year.

There is heartbreak in store as he decides to end his marriage to James,
but in a big twist, Ste makes an impulsive decision and hooks up with Rex in the toilets before his sentencing, with the trailer showing the pair kissing.
Meanwhile, as the mystery surrounding the identity of gangster Blue unfolds over the summer, Warren suspects Freddie and becomes increasingly erratic – and he can be seen torching a van in upcoming scenes.
But Warren soon has more pressing concerns when Mercedes goes into labour, and the new clip shows him helping to deliver the twins himself.

One character who will play a role in the Blue mystery is Grace, who will return to save her new husband Freddie from drowning when he is in grave danger from Warren and Rex.
On her return, Grace bonds with Frankie, who is angry and desperate amid brother JJ’s abuse. When JJ falls ill, Frankie decides to walk away, leaving him with no one to help.
Elsewhere, Cleo wants her and Abe to be a fun couple, but when they speak about opening up their relationship, he immediately strays to Theresa.

Jeremy’s appearance in the village continues to cause upset, as he scares Maxine then is under suspicion when Scott goes missing. But he is in danger himself, as the trailer shows him being drugged by his mum Martha.
Plus, as Diane continues to struggle with Ro’s transition and is increasingly isolated from Tony, she begins to spiral and her drinking gets heavier.
Finally, Donny and Misbah are happy as they begin to pursue their relationship, but it seems that Donny may have an intriguing secret.

The end of the trailer shows him looking through a box of photos and newspaper clippings of Hollyoaks residents, including Warren, Grace, Norma, Dave, Freddie and Mercedes.
