With big health news for a number of residents, Coronation Street is set to break our hearts next week, as confirmed in my brand new spoiler pictures.
The ITV soap sees Paul Foreman (Peter Ash), who has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease, told by his occupational therapist that the stairlift is too dangerous for him use.
This means that he can no longer leave the flat.
Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) therefore takes matters into his own hands, arranging one last day of freedom for Paul as they prepare to do things for the very last time.
A special episode of Corrie, set to air next Friday (July 26), will see the storyline in question take centre stage.
Elsewhere during the week, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) goes to the hospital for her appointment alone, but Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) turns up and suggests they go to see the consultant together, which takes her by surprise.
But just what will the consultant have to say?
And Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) is found by Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) at the precinct, bloodied and beaten up.

But what has happened to him?
It’s going to be quite a week on the fictional Street, so don’t miss a second of all the drama!
