Coronation Street’s Liam McCheyne, who plays Dylan Wilson, has given a big shout-out to NHS staff after a hospital visit. In childhood, the actor shared the soap role with his twin brother, Connor, due to TV rules limiting how much time kids can spend on set. Fast forward to 2022, and Liam is back as Dylan in Weatherfield.

Recently, the young actor surprised his social media followers by sharing that he had been hospitalised. The ITV star did not disclose the reason for his hospital stay but instead emphasised the importance of the NHS, describing it as ‘amazing.’ He also highlighted how the process would be a mess without them.

He expressed, “Morning shout out to our amazing NHS.  He particularly appreciated the staff at the Royal Oldham, who took excellent care of him over the past two days. He added, “What a mess we would be in without them.” Back in Weatherfield, Liam Connor’s bully, Mason Radcliffe, is out of prison.

Viewers must recall that Dylan and Mason were arrested for carrying a knife and threatening Liam with it. While Mason was sent back to prison, Dylan tried his hardest to make things right. Now, Mason has been staying at Speed Daal after Stu offered him shelter out of pity.
