The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 6, reveal that Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will once again try to repair her relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but it’s tough to believe she’ll find the magic words to change his mind.

Kyle has been fed up with both Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) lately, but Diane is worried about his resentment over her faked demise. Diane may deliver a heartfelt apology for making Kyle feel abandoned as she works to fix things between them.

However, Diane will have a hard time making any progress with her son, so it sounds like Kyle may reject her latest attempt at reconciliation.

As for Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), she’ll get updates on some bad news – at least it’ll be bad news to her!

When Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) pushes Lucy to write an apology letter to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and her loved ones, his daughter will put up a fight.

Nevertheless, Daniel’s going to hold firm on this since he agreed with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) about Lucy really needing to learn her lesson.

Over with “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby), he’ll invade Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) brain once again and urge her to deliver the consequences he’s been hinting at.

Sharon will face pressure to make a disturbing move, which could involve going after Daniel, Lucy and even Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Since Sharon has already been exhibiting some troubling behavior, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will certainly notice when she exhibits even more.

That’ll lead to Nick seeking some emergency advice from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Perhaps Nick will admit alarm bells are going off when it comes to Sharon and how she’s been acting lately.

Nick doesn’t want to overstep, but he also feels the need to look out for his former flame and the mother of his children. Victor and Nikki will have some words of wisdom once they hear Nick’s dilemma, so we’ll bring you predictions on what they’ll have to say.

Of course, Y&R may also offer some developments when it comes to Victor’s attempt to pry inside info out of Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Will Lily give Victor what he wants without a real deal in place?

If Lily pushes for a formal agreement before she spills, Victor may admit that Nikki will be snatching the CEO spot if the takeover works out. Lily will have to decide if she’s willing to agree to accept Victor’s new terms and a lesser role at Chancellor.
