Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) was left in a seriously dangerous situation in recent

EastEnders scenes when her drink was spiked on a night out.

Anna had arranged to go out with sister Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) and friends

Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) and Felix Baker (Matthew Morrison) to Peggy’s,

but she struggled to enjoy herself as she worried about boyfriend Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell).

Gina, however, was determined to help her sister have a good time, and was quick to interrupt a conversation between Anna and Freddie to drag her onto the dancefloor.

As she was being pulled away, Anna left her drink on a table, unaware that a strange man was watching her from across the club.

Later, Freddie was left concerned when Anna appeared very drunk, despite having only consumed a single shot.

With Felix having already tried to play matchmaker between Freddie and Anna, he was left flustered when Anna tried to feel his temperature, explaining that she felt really hot.

Believing Anna to be coming on to him, and not wanting to betray best friend Bobby again, flustered Freddie rushed off, leaving Anna alone.

Freddie soon expressed his concerns over Anna’s intoxication to Gina and Felix, who explained that there had been a number of spikings in the Albert recently.

It was then that they realised they had no idea where she was, and instantly set about trying to find her.

Meanwhile, Anna stumbled from the toilets, and managed to make her way halfway up the stairs before collapsing.

It was there that a man offered her a hand, and eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed something sinister about him.

This man was wearing the same shirt as the man who had been watching Anna earlier and knew that her drink had been left unattended – was he responsible for the spiking?
