After losing her baby in Emmerdale, Ella Forster is left devastated. Recently, fans discovered that Ella, a known child killer, was pregnant following a brief relationship with Dr. Liam Cavan. Liam was heartbroken upon learning about the pregnancy, especially after finding out that Ella had killed her best friend at the age of 11. This revelation brought back painful memories of the death of his teenage daughter, Lena, who was murdered by the cunning Meena Jutla.

Last week, Liam insisted that the best course of action for Ella was to terminate the pregnancy and leave the community. He even confided in Cain Dingle about his fears for the unborn child’s safety. Despite this, Cain encouraged Liam to embrace the chance of becoming a father again, though the trust between them was severely damaged.

In a salon conversation, Ella confided in Mandy Dingle that she intended to keep the baby, even though Liam demanded a paternity test. Tonight’s episode continued with Paddy Dingle finding Liam at Lena’s grave, where Liam reiterated his concerns. Later, Ella received a call as she prepared for her hospital appointment. Liam apologized for his past behavior and rushed to her side, indicating a shift in his attitude towards fatherhood.

However, during the scan, they were unable to locate a fetus, prompting Liam to accuse Ella of lying about the pregnancy. Traumatized, Ella struggled to process the loss of the child she believed she was carrying. Doctors tried to comfort her, but it was too late. Back in the village, Liam told Paddy that he felt like he had lost another child and wanted Ella to leave. Ella then encountered Manpreet Sharma, who had received a call from the hospital and had to inform Ella that she had experienced an embryonic pregnancy, where no baby develops despite pregnancy symptoms.

This heartbreaking news leaves Ella shattered, and the tension between her and Liam continues to escalate. Meanwhile, Victoria Sugden crosses paths with newcomer John Sutton, who may be her half-brother. In another subplot, Kim and Will act suspiciously as Dawn suggests hiring a private investigator to find Rose.
