Helen Flanagan has admitted she saw red after discovering that her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair
had started seeing someone else, following their split. The former couple,
who were in a relationship for 13 years, parted ways back in 2022 four years after
he popped the question and together they share three children; Matilda, Delilah and Charlie.
In a discussion about finding things on iPads, Helen, 33, recalled how this was the way she discovered that Scott, 35, had moved on.
Despite being separated at the time, the Coronation Street actress said their devices were still linked together and therefore she could see his pictures.
She spilled: âI saw who Scott was seeing on the iPad. We were split up for over a year and then I saw a very beautiful girl, glamorous and very very pretty girl.
âAnd I saw all the pictures and even though we were separated, and even though I had dated, I still rang him up and said, âI f*****g hate youâ on the train, and everyone mustâve thought this woman is a psycho.â
Helen said it was a ânatural reactionâ to be angry, given their lengthy relationship and him being the father of her three children.
âI had to let the psycho out,â she admitted on Charlotte Dawsonâs Naughty Corner podcast.
Back in April 2024, Scott was linked to swimwear model Louise Tarver after they were spotted out together, although itâs unclear if they are still dating.
A source at the time claimed that Louise and Helen knew each other and that it wouldnât be easy for the latter to see them together.
Opening up on their break-up last year, Helen said it was a difficult, but âmutual decisionâ for the sake of their kids.
She told The Sun: âPersonally, I felt as a mum that this was the best thing for my children.
âI want them to see healthy relationships and to be in healthy environments. I think if youâre unhappy then that projects on to them.
âEspecially when you have daughters, you feel like you have to set an example. I always ask myself, âWhat would I want my daughters to do? What would I want for them?â Iâd want them to be happy. I wouldnât want them to feel stuck.â
In May, the actress revealed that she had been on several dates via an app, but is not in a relationship.
Addressing how the outings went, she told The Mirror: âThe people were lovely but I donât really like the idea of choosing a partner based on looks.
âI still believe in love and The One but I think Iâll just go with the flow. I hadnât been on the dating scene for 13 years so itâs like a whole new world.â
