Coronation Street lines up more drama for the residents of the cobbles, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, with Joel Deering (Calum Lill) on the warpath once again.

The sinister solicitor, as viewers know, was responsible for the disappearance of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) and he’s desperately tried to cover his tracks ever since.

Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin), however, proves to be a thorn in his side as, next week, she reminds Joel how he owes her for leaving her stranded in the middle of a rough estate a few weeks back.

Joel seethes and proceeds to look through her social media. The dangerous man then takes action once Betsy demands £100 or she’ll blab about him picking up young girls.

In upsetting scenes, Joel grabs Betsy and drags her into the ginnel! Will she be okay?

We’ll just have to wait and see.

Elsewhere, Lauren is terrified for the life of her baby son, who was born prematurely and now lies in an incubator.

DS Swain (Vicky Myers) arrives at the hospital to ask some questions but will she get to the bottom of what’s going on?

\And there’s a big shock in store for Fiz State (Jennie McAlpine), who comes face-to-face with is Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) in Fresco’s car park. Alina explains that she’s been called as witness in a trial.

But will Fiz tell Tyrone that his ex is back in Weatherfield?

It’s set to be an action-packed week on the Street, that’s for sure!
