CORONATION Street fans think they’ve sussed the identity of The Institute’s mysterious CEO Willow.
Throughout the year, viewers have been disgusted as the cult scammed vulnerable Weatherfield residents.
Willow made an appearance a few months ago, over a Zoom call.
Viewers are now speculating Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is behind the persona.
Crooked cop Kit arrived on the cobbles earlier this year, with plenty of drama.
Sharing theories about Willow’s identity on a Corrie Facebook fan page, one person simply wrote: “Kit.”

Another agreed, commenting: “I thought that.”
A fellow fan shared their suspicions about how policeman seemingly has a lot of cash to spend.
They penned: “How would he have the money to buy Gemma and Chesney’s house for them and another in red bank like he mentioned the other day.”
When Willow first appeared, fans believed it was an AI generated image, rather than a real likeness.
One commented; “Did anyone else think that “Willow” looked computer generated?”
Another penned: “Obviously Willow is an AI character!”
Bernie meets Coronation Street villain Kit Green
Rowan (Emrhys Cooper), who arrived on the cobbles in March, has been the group’s main presence.
He drew in Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney).
However, his cunning scheme appears to be falling apart following recent developments.
After Amy left the group, a panicked Rowan called Willow, suggesting they had a problem.
It comes as Leanne has also seen the Institute for what it really is.
