Next week, Leanne Battersby might put her family at stake for creepy Altovalent Institute. Viewers already know that her sister, Toyah, and partner, Nick Tilsley, are entirely against the cult, but Leanne believes it solves all her problems. She is even more involved after getting a promotion recently.

Now, Leanne is set to recruit Amy Barlow, who has been through a lot in her life. In the due episodes, Leanne discovers Rowan is secretly recording Amy’s ‘upload session,’ where she has to open up about her trauma. Even with all this, Amy keeps investing her money in the Institute—money she inherited from her beloved grandmother.

However, Tracy is back in Weatherfield, and she’s convinced that the Institute is shady and won’t let her daughter get caught up in it. Tracy joins forces with Nick, and together, they head to the Chariot Square Hotel to confront Rowan. Tracy announces to Rowan that they’re bringing their story to the Weatherfield Gazette.

The news seriously shakes Rowan, and he turns to Leanne for help. The cult leader wants her to persuade Amy to get her mum to back off. Now, Leanne is in a tough spot. She wants what’s best for Amy.
