Troubling times are ahead for Tommy Moon (Sunny Kendall) in EastEnders next week when he turns on his mum, Kat (Jessie Wallace). In recent weeks, viewers have seen the teen struggle to cope with former stepdad Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) rejection and getting caught stealing chocolate from the Minute Mart by Priya (Andrea Hart) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal). Unfortunately, Tommy’s behavior is set to worsen. Kat and Alfie (Shane Richie), who Tommy has always considered his dad, try their hardest to discipline him when they learn he’s been skipping school. Tracking him down to the boxing gym, Alfie is shocked to find him sparring with Phil rather than starting his summer job at the launderette. Later, Tommy has a run-in with Harvey (Ross Boatman), who is seen giving money to Maya (Bharti Patel). Misunderstanding the situation, Tommy thinks Harvey is cheating on Jean (Gillian Wright) and causes more trouble. He then rushes to Phil’s to plead with him to get back with Kat, skipping work again and igniting a huge row between Kat and Phil. Kat orders Tommy to go home, only for another argument to break out. Disgusted by his attitude and reluctance to apologize, she cancels their upcoming holiday. Embarrassed by the whole situation, Kat remains tight-lipped when Alfie tries to speak with her about it, and he leaves to entertain the twins. Will Kat come clean about Tommy’s behavior, or will she continue to struggle alone
