Hollyoaks Shock: Warren Enlists Ste and Rex in Murder Plot – Will They Follow Through?

Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode on Channel 4 streaming,

which doesn’t air on E4 until Thursday.

Warren Fox has recruited Ste Hay and newcomer Rex in a murder plot in Hollyoaks.

Earlier this week, Ste was miraculously exonerated over the accidental death of

Ella Richardson thanks to the intervention of the mysterious criminal known only as Blue.

Ste had mixed emotions over winning his freedom, as he’d just ended

his marriage to James Nightingale and cheated with gangster Rex minutes before his court hearing.

In Wednesday’s (July 10) first-look episode, Ste was wracked with guilt as James tried to convince him to give their marriage another chance.

Ste confessed to his husband about Blue influencing his case, thus forcing James to question whether he could genuinely trust Ste.freddie roscoe in hollyoaks

James eventually agreed to give his marriage another shot, but only if Ste would promise never to lie to him again and stop working for Warren.

Ste was determined to make things right with James, so he later tried to keep Rex quiet by insisting their hook-up was one time only.

Meanwhile, Warren was determined to get the advantage over his new rival Blue with the help of his mother Norma Crow.

Norma promised Warren that Blue — who they suspect is Freddie Roscoe — is no match for her own criminal empire, before Rex suggested that they all team up against Blue.

Warren’s revenge quest against Blue was put on hold when Mercedes warned him he would never see their twins if any harm came to Freddie.

While Warren’s hands may have been tied with Freddie, he approached Ste with another deadly assignment.

“I’ve got a stain that needs removing,” Warren cryptically told Ste.

Rex was lurking in the shadows, only to show himself when Warren announced he’d be sending them both to kill Freddie.

“This needs to happen tomorrow,” Warren told them. “Prove to me that I can still trust you.”

Will Ste and Rex go through with murdering Freddie?

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
