NEWEST UPDATE!! Hollyoaks icon looks completely different as he stars in Hollywood film

Former Hollyoaks star Guy Burnet looks worlds away from

Craig Dean after landing roles alongside Hollywood royalty.

The 36-year-old actor, who starred on the Channel 4 soap from Hollyoaks

2002 to 2008, was recently spotted at the premiere of his latest film, Dead for a Dollar.

The Western film features Christoph Waltz as a veteran bounty hunter

on a complex mission in Mexico, with supporting roles from Willem Dafoe and Rachel Brosnahan.

Guy rocked a trimmed beard and wavy hair, which is a contrast

to the shorter do he had during his Craig Dean days.

Guy’s return to the big screen follows his surprise role in Pitch Perfect 3 opposite Anna Kendrick and a part in the Johnny Depp-led crime film Mortdecai.

During his time on Hollyoaks, Guy’s character Craig was involved in several gripping storylines as he struggled with his sexuality.

Craig eventually got engaged to John-Paul McQueen (James Sutton), and they became one of the soap’s most beloved couples. Guy briefly returned to his rolein 2008.

Earlier this year, it was announced that up to 130 jobs, including 20 cast members, would be cut at the show’s production base in Childwall, Liverpool, following the decision to reduce the weekly output from five to three episodes.Craig and John Paul in Hollyoaks

The shorter 20 minute instalments will begin in September following a UK soap first permanent time jump which is planned to sky-rocket the drama one year into the future.

It’s understood that this is to facilitate the large number of exits, with legendary original character Cindy Cunningham, played by Stephanie Waring, confirmed to be one of them.

Meanwhile, unconnected to the changes, Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas), Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams), Jonas Khan (Zain Rizwaan) and Carter Shepherd (David Ames) are also leaving.

In the last month we’ve seen four more characters bow out of the Chester village – Sharon Bailey (Jamelia), Lizzie Chen-Williams (Lily Best), her brother Mason (Frank Kauer) and Hunter McQueen (Theo Graham).
