Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) approached Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) with
her tail between her legs in Friday’s (July 5) episode of Emmerdale.
Yesterday, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) invited Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Rhona
over for an evening of drinks and games. Marlon and Rhona were
looking forward to spending time with their friends but Mandy? Not so much.
Mandy Dingle absolutely isn’t the sort of woman who thinks an evening
of wine and board games is the way to go. While Rhona, Marlon and Paddy got stuck in,
Mandy was stood on her own, wanting them to loosen up and enjoy a few martinis.
When Rhona pointed out she wasn’t really up for partying on a random Thursday evening, Mandy ended up being a little bit too honest with her thoughts and called her boring.
In tonight’s episode of the ITV soap, Paddy was in the café with Mandy talking about last night’s mishap.
When Rhona entered, Paddy tried to tell his friend that Mandy was only teasing, but she saw it as mockery.
Mandy sarcastically said no to the comment about Rhona being uptight, and cheekily said she thinks she ‘irons her knickers’!
Rhona, feeling a little embarrassed, assumed this was normal and quickly made her way over to Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), who made things worse by saying Rhona is often very ‘set in her ways’.
A little while later, Rhona returned to pick up her jacket and Mandy eventually managed to apologise.
The feud wasn’t over yet though, as when Rhona suggested going out one evening, Mandy laughed and pointed out it wouldn’t be a good idea.

Still wanting to prove she isn’t boring and uptight, Rhona then revealed she had done a survey to get some back up…consisting of her best friend Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) and husband Marlon.
Once Mandy pointed out those comments didn’t count, a frustrated Rhona left. She argued she had made an effort to be friends with Paddy’s partner but it hadn’t worked.
Oh dear.
