Hollyoaks later this week when Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) confirms that they’re leaving the village.

Misbah is determined to make her marriage to Zain Rizwaan (Jonas Khan) work

after she cheated on him with newcomer Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) earlier this year.

With Zain intent on moving to Scotland, Misbah wastes little time in revealing

that she will go with him, telling a flabbergasted Dillon that he will be moving with her too.

Dillon, as viewers know, has only just got together with Lucas,

who he fell head over heels for last year. It was a tough journey to happiness for the boys, with Lucas targeted by conversion therapist Carter Shepherd (David Ames), but true love prevailed in the end, with the two admitting their feelings and embarking on a relationship last month.

With Lucas having been violent towards Dillon while under Carter’s spell, Misbah was concerned about how quick the teens’ relationship was progressing and, after finding out that they’d had sex, she forbid Dillon from seeing Lucas.

Dillon, however, wasn’t willing to give up what he had with Lucas for anyone and therefore he met his beau in the folly, where they shared a passionate kiss, agreeing to lay low for a while as they declared themselves boyfriends.

But the couple’s secret relationship is revealed sooner than expected, with Dillon putting his foot down, refusing to leave his boyfriend when Misbah insists that he must come with them when she and Zain move away.

Misbah claims that leaving the eponymous village will be a good thing, arguing that Dillon and Lucas are too young for a relationship. But Dillon isn’t budging.

He knows what – and who – he wants.

Zain, meanwhile, isn’t quite sure about Misbah’s decision to move away, questioning her on taking Dillon, but Misbah is adamant that this is the right thing to do. Marie Fielding (Rita Simons) and Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) have similar concerns, sceptical about taking Dillon away from his home.

Despite what Misbah says, Dillon reassures Lucas that he’s not going anywhere. In an effort to rebel, the lovers have a daytime drinking session with Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) and Andre (David Joshua-Anthony).

Misbah later catches them bunking off school, but just what will she have to say?

That remains to be seen but the roles are soon reversed, with Dillon the one to give conflicted Misbah a pep talk, forcing her to admit that she really doesn’t want to go to Scotland. Zain therefore issues her with an ultimatum.

The question is: will Misbah leave the village with Zain? We know that Zain is set to be exit, but will Misbah go with him? And what’s more, will Dillon be allowed to stay with his one true love Lucas? If so, will Misbah finally give the teens her blessing?

After all they’ve been through, surely they’re owed some happiness?
