Hollyoaks‘ Misbah is set to make a big decision over Zain in upcoming scenes.

As viewers may know, the couple’s marriage has been on the rocks ever since

Zain overheard Misbah telling Sharon that she feared there wasn’t enough passion in their marriage.

Their fraught relationship was only worsened after Misbah kissed Donny,

and the pair have recently been growing closer.

In scenes airing next week, Sally advises Misbah to fight for what she wants.

Heeding the advice, Misbah meets up with Zain in the hopes of patching things up and getting back together, though she fears that Zain doesn’t want the same.

However, Zain informs his wife that he’s been offered a job in Scotland and he wants her to move there with him.

Unsure of what to do, Misbah seeks advice from Sally again as Zain waits for her decision. Will she go or stay?

It was recently announced that Jonas Khan, who plays Zain, is set to exit the soap, so it seems likely that his exit storyline will involve him moving to Scotland while Misbah stays behind.

The news of Khan’s departure followed a string of exits from Hollyoaks as the soap gets ready to move from five to three episodes a week in September, with cuts expected to both the number of cast and crew.

Stephanie Waring was axed from her role as Cindy Cunningham, while Glynis Barber announced her departure as Norma Crow earlier this month.

Sharon Bailey also made her exit from the village earlier this year after Jamelia turned down the offer of extending her contract for another year.
