Yolande Truman’s (Angela Wynter) devastating abuse by Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) has

stuck a chord with EastEnders fans, who have poured praise onto the actress.

Yolande suffered a terrifying ordeal when she was sexually assaulted by Pastor Clayton,

and recent episodes have seen her open up about what she went through.

Unfortunately, her hopes of bringing the Pastor to justice were dashed when

They added: ‘Once the Inside Soap Awards nominations are released next month, Angela will get my vote as Best Actress and I hope Angela Wynter & Rudolph Walker (Patrick) will be nominated for Best Partnership and Single Episode.’
