Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle Dingle, has teased that Cain Dingle could play a major role in Tom King’s potential downfall. Eden, who attended the National Television Awards on September 11, dropped some cryptic hints about the future of her character’s storyline. Recently, Belle bravely revealed the abuse she suffered from her husband Tom King, which has put him on the run due to fears of retaliation from Belle’s protective brother, Cain.

When asked about what’s next for Cain, Eden teased, “Who knows what Cain’s going to do? The Dingles are the most loyal family, so it’s going to shake things up.” She added, “Justice is key in a storyline like this. I think if justice is served, everyone will be happy.”

Eden also opened up about the overwhelming support she’s received from fans who have experienced similar abuse, saying it’s been an emotional journey hearing so many personal stories from viewers. “If this helps just one person, I’ll be really proud,” she said.

As for Belle, Eden hinted at an exciting new chapter for her character. “This is a new page in Belle’s life—it’s about her finding strength and courage,” she shared, hinting that Belle will be taking matters into her own hands in the coming episodes.

As for Tom King’s fate, Emmerdale producers have confirmed that the storyline will continue to unfold throughout the rest of the year. Producer Laura Shaw revealed, “We’ve always had a clear picture of where this storyline will end, and while there have been new twists along the way, fans can expect a dramatic conclusion.”
