Emmerdale Cast Heaps Praise on Jerell Carter After His Show Exit
Jerell Carter, who portrayed Nate Robinson on Emmerdale for five years, has received an outpouring of love and praise from his co-stars following his exit from the show. Nate’s departure saw him leaving the village for a new job in Shetland after intense rows with his father, Cain, and estranged wife, Tracy.
In an emotional Instagram post following his final scenes, Carter reflected on his time on the show, saying, “It’s been a massive chapter of my life and will always hold a special place in my heart.” He added that Emmerdale is like a family, and from the first day he stepped onto the set, he was made to feel welcome and appreciated.
Messages of support and admiration quickly flooded Carter’s post. Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, joked, “Bro, we miss you already. The corridors don’t smell the same.” Miller also reminisced about a special moment they shared while filming in the Dingle house, expressing his love and gratitude for Carter.
Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy Metcalfe, wrote, “I’m not crying, you are! We all miss you already, Jay. You’re a true diamond, a gentle giant, and a total gent.” Other co-stars echoed these sentiments. Ash Palmisciano (Matty Barton) thanked Carter for being such a kind and lovely colleague, while Daisy Campbell (Amelia Spencer) called him the “kindest soul ever” and wished him well on his future adventures.
Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle) and Laura Norton (Kerry Wyatt) also shared heartfelt tributes, with Riley calling him a “beautiful human with the biggest heart” and Norton praising him as a “lovely, lovely man” who will be dearly missed.
Carter’s exit from Emmerdale marks the end of an era for Nate Robinson, but his co-stars’ messages suggest his presence on the set will be sorely missed. Fans are also eager to see what the talented actor will do next in his career.
