Billy and Sally run into each other as they stop to grab a coffee for a long work night.
Billy admits he can’t stop thinking about Chelsea, and Sally agrees… She can’t stop thinking of Adam!
Neither of them has heard anything from Adam or Chelsea in Baltimore. Sally thinks that could be a good sign, but Billy believes it could be bad.
Chelsea and Adam hang out and drink alcohol to calm their nerves. Neither of them can sleep.
Chelsea stresses about Connor’s condition and not receiving any updates.
They agree they will get through this and Connor will make it through, too. They agree they’ve both messed up plenty of times but somehow created an amazing kid
Jack barges into Victor’s office, slamming the door behind him. They need to talk.
Victor calls him out on his entrance and wants to know what they could possibly have to discuss.
Jack says it’s about his son; leave Kyle alone!
Diane tries to reach Kyle again. She wants him to put Harrison first and not take him away from his family, who loves him.
Diane assures him she is not doing that. She only wants what is best for her Grandson.
Kyle insists his decision is based on love and thinks his son should be in a house full of love where people don’t turn on each other so easily.
His mother cries foul and points out his unfairness. She reminds him that he turned on her first at Jabot.
Kyle is in no mood to hear it and revisits her lack of qualifications. He claims he’s the victim here, not her. He is the one with the pink slip. She brought all of this down on them, not him. “You have to live with the consequences,” he tells her.
Adam and Chelsea continue to sip bourbon and discuss life. They remember the past, holidays, etc.
They manage to smile and share a few laughs during this difficult time.

Adam consoles her, and they sit together on the bed.
They hug, and he wipes her tears. Things take a turn, and they start kissing.
